Read Through Some Of Our Most Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have questions regarding our services and products? We have the answer. Check out these FAQs about Aluminum Screen & Window Co Inc and give us a call today for more information!
  • Do you just do aluminum windows?

No. In 1958, when we named the company, aluminum was the material of choice for both window screen material and new windows. However, today, most of the windows we do are vinyl windows and most window screen material is fiberglass.

  • What other services do you provide?

We also repair window glass, window screen, and storm door. We adjust screen doors as well. If you have something else that you want us to do, please contact us for more information.

  • Do you deliver screens that I have ordered?

Yes. There is a $80 service fee for pick up and installation of your repaired window screens.

  • Will you measure for my missing screens?

Yes. There is a $25 measuring fee for someone to measure to replace your missing screens. This does not included installation.

  • Do you ship window products?

No. We do not offer shipping of window products. Currently, we are only able to service the mid-Willamette Valley in Oregon. Too many of our window items are custom sized, fragile, and odd shaped so that we cannot ship via common carrier.

  • Do I need to bring in my old screens?

Yes, if you have them. We can measure off  your old window screens even if they are broken.

  • Do I need a whole new window if my window is broken?

We can replace the glass in your existing frame to repair broken window glass. What gets replaced in a re-glaze is only the window glass. Think of this as a glass sandwich with glass on two sides and an aluminum spacer as filling.

  • If one side of a thermal window glass is broken, do I have to replace both pieces?

Yes. Insulated glass is factory sealed in a dust and moisture free environment, so even if only one side is broken, they both need to be replaced.

  • Do you replace or repair car windows?

No. We are a residential window glass shop specializing in sales, installation, and service of vinyl windows.
